This is a continuing saga from Shh, my PC also runs Mac.  There are multiple ways to get Mac OS X running, you may view the in-depth comparison of each approach’s pro’s and con’s.  Once you think running it as a virtual machine is the way to go, jump on, and follow the steps below

  1. Follow the steps from this post at Insanely Mac.
  2. There is a problem with Power Manager in the VM, so you will need to turn off the Power management in your Mac OS X guest operating system

Note that the Virtual Machine may or may not be portable, which is quite counter intuitive.  Although copying the VM from one machine to another would not disable the VM, occasionally the OS would run noticeably slower even on a beefier machine.   In that case, probably reinstallation is the only solution.
