Since Windows Vista, Redmond has decided to drop the ball on 1394 (aka Firewire) for TCP/IP connecting. For a long time I rely on this 400/800 Mbps connection when I need to transfer large amount of data between my PCs, now I have to resort to either Wireless, my LAN (unfortunately it is only 100-BT) or external hard drive. How inconvenient!
